- Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a treatment that allows the reduction of unwanted hair from any part of the body. It is performed using a laser application technique on the skin.
The light that is emitted is concentrated on the hair and causes its destruction. In each session, a percentage of the hair in the treated area is removed but, as each hair has a different growth rate, a part will remain that will grow again. Therefore, the treatment must be repeated for several sessions depending on the area to be waxed and the type and color of both hair and skin. Hair can be removed on common areas such as bikini lines, face, arm, underarm, leg, and any other areas you’d like to be addressed. The key guarantee with laser technology here is precision, which will allow for other parts of your skin to be kept completely undamaged.
This treatment is performed in men and women.
Our lasers are medical grade, and we have different technologies such as from Diodo, Tri laser and Fotona Nd Yag and IPL.
- Nail Fungus
For use on fingernails or toenails. The heating of the nail bed stimulates the killing of parasitic fungus which allows your body’s immune system to clear the infection and debris thereby restoring the nail back to its original state. First your nails will be filed down allowing the laser to better penetrate the treatment site, then the laser will be administered to the nail and surrounding skin. This treatment is optimal when compared to topical nail varnish applications such as Penlac/Jublia which are subjected to chemical diffusion and laser is more optimal compared to oral antifungal medications which have side effects of liver toxicity requiring frequent blood work to check liver enzymes.
All nails and surrounding skin on the affected hand will be treated, for example, if only the right big toe has an infection, we will treat all 5 toenails with the treatment.

- Capillaries- Veins and Vascular Lesions
Laser treatment is among the most popular procedures for removal of many types of vascular lesions including facial telangiectasia, spider veins on the legs. The laser targets the oxyhemoglobin chromophore which is found inside the veins. Using heat and light, our laser delivers a photothermal effect to the vessels, coagulating the blood in the treated area. By creating a small clot in the vessel, the blood flow is redirected to deeper vessels located below the skins surface. The body’s lymphatic system and immune cells then work the clear the clot over the coming weeks and shut down the superficial vessels. This process is a very safe and effective way to treat a range of vascular conditions.
The Fotona laser has a Variable Square Pulse (VSP) technology that allows deep penetration into the skin, without doing any damage to the skin surface. The laser’s Long Pulse setting can target the red, purple and violet pigmentation in the blood vessels of the skin, by delivering controlled laser energy to coagulate them. To ensure the lesions do not grow back, the vascular feeding system is targeted and broken down into dead tissues, allowing the body’s immune system to remove them naturally.
- Tattoo Removal
TECHNOLOGY laser pico seconds. This is the most innovative method in tattoo removal, which has the advantage of reducing the total number of sessions required to achieve the desired results.
For the tattoo removal appointment, a prior assessment is required to assess the size, pigmentation, among other factors. Between sessions we must wait a few weeks according to what is indicated, the total number of sessions depends on the age of the tattoo.
The picosecond laser is one of two interesting options for those with tattoos but is also probably preferred among those who’d like to remove colored tattoos. This is because the Picosecond laser can operate at different wavelengths, which each address different colors of pigment. The laser itself will focus on specific colors of pigmentation, allowing it to be precise and accurate around removing differently colored tattoos over time.
To provide tattoo and any other related pigmentation removals, we use the Fotona Laser. The updated piece of technology provides for longer wavelength, which contributes to more strength, and therefore better and more consistent results. The short pulse also makes it perfect for the removal of specific pigment colors, such as the dark blue / black and even red tattoo pigments that are heavily common among tattoos. This allows us to remove ink entirely from the skin as tattoo ink particles absorb lasers and begin to fade slowly after treatment.
- Professional tattoos: Tattoos created by professionals usually have a balanced and well distributed layer of ink, usually contained within the subcutaneous areas of the skin. As a result, provided the ink quality is good as well, a minimal amount of 4-6 treatments is required.
- Amateur tattoos: Amateur tattoos might fall under a similar situation as professional tattoos, so long as the ink used is good. This means that most tattoos are easy to remove and are no different. However, if the ink used was of a poor quality, or might not be evenly distributed, we might have to go with a few extra sessions to ensure that all uneven layers of ink are addressed fully.
- Cosmetic tattoos: Cosmetic tattoos, otherwise known as cosmetic pigmentation, usually are contained within the eyebrow, eye, and lip regions. They are different to tattoo inks as they are mostly composed of semi-permanent forms of iron-based inks. You’ll need to let us know what sort of pigmentation you used so we can perform a test trial to see if this can be removed.

- Acne
This is one of the few laser treatments in the world that can treat *active* acne. Fotona laser works by drying up active sebaceous glands and destroying acne creating bacteria. This reduces inflammation, redness, and overactive oil glands. A bonus is the collagen stimulation which helps the skin to heal from the deep dermal layers to the superficial epidermal layer. This treatment works best for all types of acne but can be custom tailored to cystic acne on the face and/or body.

Fotona offers a laser acne treatment protocol that provides a truly comprehensive solution to the problem of acne. Fotona’s precisely controlled Nd:YAG laser light safely penetrates into skin to effectively target overactive sebaceous glands and to reduce the risk of developing new acne inflammation.
- Solar Lentigines / Spots
Pigmented lesions are remarkably common, and the overwhelming majority are benign. Related to sun exposure, these are benign (non-cancerous) lesions found on areas commonly exposed to the sun such as hands, face and lower legs. They are usually less than 5mm in diameter but may merge to form later spots. They may vary in colour from yellow, brown to black and may often disappear.
It is widely recognized in the medical community that lasers are the ideal tools for effectively removing benign pigmented lesions. Multi-wavelength, laser systems with frequency-doubled are uniquely able to produce very short pulses of intense light that are selectively absorbed by treatment-specific pigments in a lesion.
Fotona’s laser system are the perfect tool for treating a wide range of pigmented lesions, enabling treatments for everything from nevi (moles) and vascular lesions to ephelides, sunspots and melasma.

- Scars
The minimally invasive nature of laser scar-revision treatments means that they are well tolerated by patients, and faster recovery times allow the psychological impact of scar revision treatments to be realized much sooner by patients.
For hypertrophic scars, clinical research conducted with the laser wavelength show further improvement in the aesthetic appearance and overall tissue quality of a scar, including erythema, volume, pliability, etc.
A Synergistic Treatment Solution
With Fotona’s pioneering dual-wavelength scar-revision therapy, both non ablative and fractional-ablative wavelengths are combined as part of a single comprehensive scar-treatment regimen, with immediate visible results that surpass that of traditional laser-based and conventional scar treatment techniques. Dual-wavelength scar treatment therapies provide a highly effective solution that not only addresses a scar’s aesthetic appearance but also helps to resolve complicating factors with the scar’s vascular feeding system.
- Vaginal Rejuvenation
Laser therapy for incisionless, non-invasive photothermal tightening of the vaginal canal. This procedure is clinical proof that is an efficient, easy-to-perform, and safe procedure.
The indication for this is vaginal relaxation syndrome, which is the loss of the optimum structural form of the vagina. This condition is generally associated with overstretching of the vaginal canal during childbirth as well as with natural aging.
As a non-ablative, minimally invasive procedure with the laser, it also represents a safer, faster and more patient-friendly solution that avoids the undesirable complications present with other vaginal tightening methods.
Clinical results show a tightened vaginal canal, greater sexual satisfaction, and significant improvement in a patient’s quality of life.

- Skin Fibroids
A dermatofibroma is a growth that can occur anywhere on your skin. They most often appear on your upper arms, lower legs, and upper back. These skin growths feel like hard lumps below your skin. They range in color from flesh-colored to deep purple.
Sometimes these tumors become quite large and cause severe abdominal pain and heavy periods. In most cases, they cause no signs or symptoms at all.
The growths are typically benign, or noncancerous. The cause of fibroids is unknown.
Fibroids are also known by the following names:
- uterine fibroids
- fibromas
- myomas
- leiomyomas
- uterine myomas

What are Moles, Warts, and Skin Tags?
Warts are the awkward growths that emerge on the skin on any portion of the body. They emerge in variable sizes, from spiky to a lump like growth. These abnormal, rough, and profuse growths are principally triggered by viral infections. When the system is septic with Human Papilloma virus (HPV) viruses, then these viruses trigger excessive skin cell growth. Moles are nothing more than calluses that arise in a specific contour in which can be very uncomfortable for the individual with the issue. These corns generally crop up on regions of skin that are smooth to the touch, and do not have lots of hair. It is very imperative for somebody struggling from this ailment, to leap in instantaneously in getting it cleared up. If one has corns and does not opt for some treatment, the corns can continue to grow and cause discomposure for a very lengthy period. Medically referred to as acrochordon, skin tags are benevolent tumors on the skin that resemble a trivial piece of soft skin that is sagging out. Skin tags are generally acquired and anodyne.
Removal
Laser removal is a modern procedure that helps remove unwanted moles quickly, safely, and painlessly. This treatment is performed for many reasons: an aesthetically unattractive appearance, discomfort when the mole is regularly injured, or is the disturbance is related to its localization when it is rubbed or pressed by clothes.
During laser removal, bursts of light radiation are directed toward the mole, breaking down the skin cells it is comprised of. The surrounding tissue is left intact and healthy.
Before the procedure we use an anesthetic to make you feel comfortable
